My walk to Aber Falls

I thought I would share some of the pictures from the walk I did to Aber Falls a few weeks ago. The weather was terrible raining and freezing cold but I absolutely loved it, the walk was 7.5km, you can do a shorter one if you stay on the direct path. It was lovely and peaceful and only saw a handful of people.

Walking

My exercise of choice is walking and ever since doing Weightlossfordudes Lifestyle Change Challenge over the summer I have stuck to walking and tried to get out when I can to interesting places that are local. I love walking because:

  1. I can be outdoors
  2. It's free
  3. I lose more weight when walking
  4. I can do it at work
  5. I get to take pretty pictures and videos
On Friday I completed a 3.4 mile walk at my favourite local beauty spot whilst in the visitors centre I spied the Health Walks Series leaflets

I was excited as it will give me more local places to go walking. I picked up number 1 and 4 and have emailed the council to see if they can send me the rest of the series.

Each leaflet contains two walks with a map, route description, pictures, distances and how much time they think you may need. Below are more pictures.

I am hoping the council still have these in print but at least I have four walks that I can do which will allow me to do more exploring of the area I live in.
